Does anyone have a Tow Dolley in Orange County, Ca that i could barrow for all of about 20 minutes? I have a 1988 Ford Escort sitting in my driveway that does not run. A friend said he will fix it, then buy it off me, but the car has to be in his name for his parents to allow the car in his driveway. We transfered the car into his name yesterday, and now need to get it to his house. He lives 1-1.5 miles away from me. We would push it, but we would have to go up a freeway overpass, and the car is registered 'Non-Op' so it cant really be pushed. And my Mom, Sister, and Me are all getting sick of it being there, taking up my trucks spot.

We dont really want to pay $60 to rent a Dolley from U-Hual, and because of their insurance, they cant rent it to me because i dont have an under the bumper hitch. I only have a 2" ball bolted to my rear bumper.

Truck Details: 1993 GMC Sonoma, 2.8l V6, 5 speed trans, stock clutch, 3.73 gears.

If anyone has a tow dolley i could barrow/rent i would be very happy. I would pick it up, tow my car 1.5 miles, wash it, and return it. If you would rather not lend your dolley out to someone you have never met, or talked to, I understand. If you would be willing to help me out by towing it for me for $30 or so, that would work for me also.

Thank you in advance! (sorry for my endless babble  )

Oh, And i have towed a trailer before. It was a 8x10 flat trailer with 2 quads and a dirtbike + gear for a 3 day camp out. Took it up the Grapevine no problem.
