When my sons had Yamaha , we used this oil , no problems with it. ( Over here Yamaha dealerships must also sell Belray , same company imports both the oil and the bikes )
I would use 33-1 in any hard ridden 85 or 125.
I used it with no problems, but I didn't use it for very long. I think RR told me that it wasn't the most anti-corrosive premix out there, but that was like 4 years ago so I might be mistaken. I've run Yamalube and Mobil MX2T with no probs whatsoever. I don't think you can go wrong with any big name synthetic or semi-synthetic premix oils.
I got a E-Mail from SirTech at Belray.com and he is saying use the BelRay H1R at a 32:1 - 20 oz to 5gals of fuel - I see most guy's are running at 40:1
32:1 is the way to got on a 125.... i have seen a noticeable change in topend life since i switched to 32:1... but then after that i went to 28:1.. and like it even better, my bike seems to run better with more oil in the gas.... but it is also jetted for it.
i use maxima formula K2 and i really like it
H1R is good oil. I wish BelRay would start putting it in normal 1 pint bottles instead of those goofy 12.8 oz. deals. With a pint bottle it would work well with 32:1 ratio by just adding 4 gal. of gas and 40:1 add 5 gal. of gas. The current bottle is a hassle for mixing at 32:1. I can't find the 1 liter bottles any more.
Brentl,
That is a good idea, can't say I ever thought of that. A 16 oz. bottle would be better imo though.
Fyinzuki, Where do you get the liter bottles at? My shop told me they're not available any more.
