I feel real bad for Alessi, but IMO this will make it an even more exciting season.

Lots of riders had found themselves in a deep hole after 3 rounds, and that hole just got a lot less deep.

I think it will come down to Short and Reed for the title, with Josh Grant getting some wins and finishing 3rd for the season. I hope Short wins it, but I just want to see more good racing! Reardon & Tedesco to fill out the top 5 on the season.

Now that Alessi's out, maybe JBS will throw his support behind a Yamaha rider, lol.

JBS needs to step in at least for 2-3 races. Just for the reality check for other riders. Even RC should jump in for a couple. Add TP to that too. Cmon! Looks like 250's will be what I look forward too this season.

Can 450 riders jump into the 250 class if they want to?

That would be nice to see JBS this year. If RV and Alessi were out on the track, the reality check may have been served up to James!

Honestly, I doubt we will see James. I think it would take a big pay check to get him out there.

Someone mentioned Travis was racing at least one round. IMO, he might make top 15 in one moto. But he always makes for a good show.

If RC shows up, you can bet he will be READY, and playing for keeps. Probably won't happen, but I think he would school all of 'em, still.

And no i don't think 450 riders can jump down but i think 250 riders can jump up?? Again I'm not entirely sure. :think:

Generally no.. Not the top riders at least. Most of the back markers can, but who cares.. They'd still be back markers on a 250.

as Indo says, generally dudes don't switch back and forth. Anyone can, no matter where they are in the standings, but it doesn't bode well for gaining points in either class.

So, maybe David Knight will show up this weekend? I'd like to see CR tangle with him. IMO, Chad worries too much about the racers he comes up on, follows, scared? I have seen him brake check lappers! Thats lost time off the lap, and no good reason. Sorry, HE IS THE WARRIOR, though? JBS could (pleasepleaseplease) reasonably still walk in and honor thy plate. Who has Big Bubba's email? Gotta pull more for Shorty! Thankfully the lites class is some really smoking racing.They need more cameras. I am kinds thinking, you need so many points in the lites before you can legally move up to the MX class, and they are raising the minimum age from 16 to 18, a year at a time. Suppose that is preparation for the youth ban?

David will concentrate on the World Enduro Championship for 2009, the more specialised 'Extreme' events taking a back seat to give David time to get used to his new bike and team. He will hopefully contest the full 5 rounds of teh British Enduro Championship

Its a given at the track Gary. I can not imagine the mail they are going through. Back in the day, we rode anything, anywhere, ITS FAR! Now it is only the track personnel, and handi cap. Quad with a cooler and away you go. Once they recognize you it will be fine. Just do not abuse it. We did, and see what happened! Your a fallen warrior for petes sake!
