Boysen dual stage reeds, a fly wheel weight, torque spacer, S/A, and a single taper needle in the carb will tame the bike, yet still allow it to rev out and have torque. Porting also helps if you are inclined to go further. This also makes a small MX bike into a great trail bike. My wife has an '03 KX100 that we performed all those mods to, and it works well. Until now. She just bought a KDX, so let the mods begin again................
