Exhaust mods on 2006 KDX200?

On the justKDX website it says you can mod the standard 89-94 pipe by pulling out the double skin/baffle in the expansion chamber and it will go better. I have a 2006 KDX and I happen to have a spare pipe for it, I am wondering does the mod work on a 2006 model too. I don't want to buy an aftermarket pipe as I am happy to mod my spare pipe. Anyone know if just pulling out the inner liner works on the H models?

the 1995- 2006 modles don't have the double wall so you can't mod the pipe, you can buy a torque ring though.
