Right first off, sorry for these questions, just I need some help and haven't had much luck else where so bare with me please :)

Well first off t this is my 98 YZ 250:

First problem is that this has snapped and I really dont know what they are called, where can I get one of these please?

http://img520.imageshack.us/img520/6577/s34000229ju.jpg

Second problem is that where the exhaust joins to the silencer, its loose and keeps moving, ive tried pretty hard to push them both in, but its still loose for some reason. Any advice please?

Third problem is where the exhaust connects to the engine, it keeps leaking, I think its either there is no O Ring or the springs I got are to loose

Fourth is that rust is building up on the nuts and bolts, someone said sand them down and spray with WD-40, that any good?

Sorry to do this, but I really am crap at fixing bikes, and I would be really greatful for this.

The thing that snapped is the right side fork protector. Try a dealer, or an online parts store. By the looks of it, you've got stickers on them, that won't come on the stock part, or an aftermarket replacement, so you'll have to deal with that if you're worried about them matching.

The pipe/silencer joint may be worn and loose, or there may be something missing from the joint, like a rubber sleeve to help seal it. If you go to Yamaha's website, they have the parts microfiche on there, and you can check to see if it all is present or if something is missing.

To seal the pipe at the cylinder, get a new set of O-rings and springs.
Your jetting may also be off, which will increase the spooging.

About all you can do to stop the rust is clean it up and put on something like that to prevent it. When you are in a humid climate, the moisture in the air tends to rust exposed steel and iron. Replace any severely damaged fasteners, with new ones.

Thanks Timberpig for the info, really greatful :)

But on the fork, the white thing is snapped, not the actual fork protector, the thing I got my finger on. The fork protector is fine just the white seal thing.

Any adivce?

Arh ok thanks timber :)

Nah chevy, its locked up in a small steel type shed, I took it out to take pics because
its to small to fit me and the bike in at the same time. Not only that its got about 3 thick
chains around it

Thanks cannon, I would really be appreciated if you wouldnt mind doing that :)

If possible, can someone give me some websites for yamaha or motocross parts please? Thanks.

Just had a look on bikebandit.com, great for the OEM parts, but the 1 part I need and they haven't got it ! They got every single thing for the front forks except a front fork protector guide .... Don't believe it ! :(

I do have one. It has had the ears ground off, but it is still functional. Many of us removed these from the forks .

PM me if you need it!

For Yamaha parts... might want to check out www.dgy.com too. Go to Parts - Yamaha - OEM Yamaha Parts... and select your bike year and model. The prices are around 30% off of retail, I think....

Using the DGY site... for your broken fork protector guide....

If it's the fork with the brake caliper... it's part #5DH-2314F-L0-00 $8.32.

If it's the fork without the caliper, it's part #4SS-2314G-L0-00 $9.56.

I assume you have stock exhaust.... if so, you might want to consider a new rubber joint piece, that connects the pipe to the silencer:

Part # 3JE-14615-01-00 - $18.35

You're right, where the pipe goes into the cylinder, there should be an o-ring and 3 springs. If you want to try new ones... here are the part #s and prices from DGY's site:

O-ring # 93210-472A9-00 - $8.82
Springs # 90507-20052-00 - $3.13 each
