I have a 2001 CR 80 and would like to know how much a FMF Fatty pipe actually improves the bikes power. Did it help on low end mid or top end? Did you like the way it ran and the way that the new power worked? Thanx

I installed the FMF SST pipe with a FMF silencer. I also used a uni filter with the top of the air box cut off, and some jetting.
This helped unbelievably in the top end, maybe some more mid but the bottom on these 80's are tough.
If bottom is what you want adjusting the timing is the best way to get there but for awsome race top end the SST worked graet.

my friend had a 01 cr 80 with an sst and a pc2 on his but didnt really like it so he ran pc. but his dad took in the sst and they gave him a fatty for a trade and he ran that and loves it. he says it gives it so much power everywhere. now he runs his fatty and powercore 2.
