Header Spacer?

I was reading an article on setting up a cr 250. In this article it mentioned a 5mm spacer for the exhaust header. Any body know exactly what that will do for the bike and where do I get one? :think:

It is meant to give more bottom but it wont always work-you have to try it out, it think someone sold some may have been Moose or something like that? basically you want a 5mm thick washer to push back the pipe(making the pipe 5mm longer.

I got one from mxbones and it does help the bottom-end. Its not as noticable as a new pipe or anything but for getting the type of power you want it is a step in the right direction.
