What are good fork and rear shock settings on an 06 KX 85.
I am 5'4" and 110 lbs. I am trying to get good power too. I need suggestions to get increased power and good suspension settings till I get my new bike.

The suspension settings are a R&D thing. You need to read up on how which setting will change things to benefit problems you're having. The stock suspension is ok but not great. The forks on the KX are not the best either but an be made to perform excellent. Revalving the front forks, like a set of Gold-valves from racetech are awesome and the same to the rear.

As for power, you didn't say if you had any bolt ons yet, i.e. pipe, reeds, etc. The pipe is a owner preference. I did a big test with alot of pipes, silencer, reed jetting combination a few years ago and found no huge difference between them. OUr best combimation we found with a stock 100 was a Bills pipe, V-force reeds, PC 304 shorty silencer and jetting to match for our elevation.

If you're looking to go internal, well, I can say the +2mm stroker with a 100cc bore (52.50mm) is about the best. We have been from 100, 103 (stroker), and now a 112. My sone has ridden 105's and 107's. Granted the 112 is wicked fast but he said the best feeling set up was the stroker.

I also liked the stroker setup. It was easy to maintain. Stock topend parts. No special pistons, gasket sets, cutting of powervalve, etc. But my spoiled son had to be "all out" for super mini. But I can't blame him since he also rides a KX250 in a lites C class. So the power difference is demeaning. He's also 5'5", 113 lbs.

Here's a few other sites to help you get some other opinions and ideas.
