How to tell what year rm I have

    kids learning bike

    I came across an old yamaha enduro 80, they didn't know the year or the exact model to get the right parts for it, any help is great, the vin # 1TO-018468 the points burnt up and need to fix it, trying to make it my kids first bike :worship:

    That looks like the engine code off the engine? Does the bike have a 17 digit vin on the frame near the steering stem?

    thats the only number I could find on the goose neck,its got the twin shocks on rear and points so I'm guessing its pre 80's

    Bikes usually have the month and year of manufacture as well as the model year on a plate on the stearing stem.

    I'm trying to find out what the year of my bike is as well . But my 10th digit is the number 0????? Any thoughts? Thanks

    Either im blind or stupid or both. But my Rm250s 10th digit is a zero. Can anyone suggest what year it couldbe?
