Are there any difference between hydraulic fluid and
suspension fluid? I have hydraulic fluid in my outer chambers
of KYB FORKS with great success. I also have it in my inners
and I'm still testing, so far it feels good. However I have not
ran a long moto. I'm just wondering if anyone else decided
to think outside the box.

I must say it, suspension fluid is very expensive.
You must be willing to venture outside the box to learn.
Anyrate, what is your choice of fluids? Just courious.

As important to me as the suspension is, it gets sent to MX TECH. I am sorry that I totally disagree with this road you have picked. It may even work for your purposes, not mine. The price of replacing damaged parts, and my welfare far out weighs the price of suspension fluid. I still cringe at the idea of running atf fluid in mx transmissions, why? $$$$ If that is the case, then cheaper recreation is in order!

I didn't go out blindly and just pick out any hydraulic fluid
and put it in. I have some resources and I've done my homework. I'am a bit of a DIYER, I see you send your suspension out. I'am the type to learn and do it yourself.
Of course it all comes down to time, if you dont have the time
to research and learn, then let someone else do the work for you. There is no way I would send out my suspension and let someone else do the work for me. Suspension is too personal.
