Once you determine TDC, any mark anywhere can be relatively used to set, check or change the timing. Measure the circumference of the rotor, divide by 360º and make your own scribe marks based on your previously found TDC. Altogether not too handy cuz you can't change the timing without removing the rotor..and if there's slop putting it back together, it would be tough to know what you were ending up with. If you get some definite input as to advancing/retarding KDXs and its effect either way, hope you post it back here. [/QUOTE]
