i just read in the paper that only 3% of kansas is forested. and justql claims to be a woods rider. ha!:p

btw, nebraska and north dakota had the least, 2%. maine had the most, 90%.

There is a lot of good "desert" riding north of Oklahoma. Nothing but flat, dry land. As I told Justin, the only thing good in Kansas is the radio reception.

Aw, you're way east. I'm out here in Garden City. The only thing out here famous/infamous that you'd know about would be the Clutter's ("In Cold Blood"):eek:

I just talked to this old fart the other day that was the last Lawyer to prosecute the death penalty in the state of Kansas. He was the main man in the Clutter case. Thought that was interesting. But lest I digress.

It's kinda nice out here. Lots of room to ride, & quite few restrictions. In San Diego, it was frankly illegal to just wash your car in the driveway (I think) .:eek: Out here, no one would look twice if you went out & dumped your oil change in the ditch.;)
