well you have good bars which will help. You are going to need stiffer than stock springs for the MX and your weight for sure.

Other than that, they do fine. They do better with stiffer springs for sure. The bike was mostly built off the 90-91 KX250 so there is potential there.

Is the KX rear spring stiffer?
or would u recomend a good aftermarket brand? ( 4 200 & 250 )
front forks seem perfect!
Thanks!!

Even though it is a heavy bike, you'll do just fine on a mx track. Eventually you will want to beef up the suspension a little. My KDX 250 is still used strictly on mx tracks.

I'm really interested on how i can "beef Up" rear spring & shock.
Is there an aftermarket, Or stiffer shock setup from KX?

The rear spring is not bad. But you can get one from a newer KX in the 5.0-5.3 range to help out.

Also you can get shorter suspension rods (dog bones) the T=6 units to increase the travel in the rear of the bike. A local suspension guy advised me to do this. The stocks are listed as T=10.

For the front fork. easy enough to get some takeout units from a KLX300 bike. .38kg is the rate, up from the stock .34-.35 units. That will still be plush enough for the woods. If you are really serious about MX, get into the .40-.43 range up front.
