you get what you pay for , and that is not just a saying
if you are a slow rider,or novice ,im sure they might work ok, but when you get better ,and feel the tires slipping, and no traction you will begin to learn,about the differences
and as for the pressure,hard , or soft you still have ware, its all in the rubber compound
