My 12 year old and I are in the process of doing a top end on his 02 KX 85. I've done "pre" powervalve 2 stroke top ends but not the new ones. We haven't torn down yet but looking at the cylinder nut directly under the KIPS powervalve I've wondering how to torque this nut back to spec. because of the way the cylinder/powervalve extrudes over the nut. My standard torque wrench (craftsman) is never going to reach into this tight space.
How do you get to these hard to get at nuts that must be torqued?
Dennis
P.S. Any info on loctite on the cylinder nut and head nuts/bolts?
