I have a 1995-96 kawasaki kx500. i just bought it from a friend but, it has been sitting in his barn for the last three years. So i gave it a tune up and tried to start it but the only way it will start is when the choke is on. it starts but only for a min. then i turn on the valve that lets gas into the carbueator but, the carb has three hoses that come from it one on each side and one near the bottom of the bowl as soon as i let the gas into it, it drains right out of the hoses. any ideas what my problem is?

The float or needle is stuck.

Remove the carb. Clean it thoroughly. Set the float level per the manual. Put it back together. It should be fine then.
