Looking for some advice on picking up a trials bike. My budget is low (preferably less than $3000 CDN) so a new bike is out of the question (I'd have a GasGas TXT280 Pro already if I had the cash). Right now I've found a 1998 Montesa Cota 315R for $2800 CDN. Looks to be in good shape. Good deal?
I've never ridden trials before, but I race the A class around home and can hold my own at the ISDE (well, at the club level), so I'd like to think I'm a decent rider already. I'm looking at getting into trials to improve my technical skills ala Knight and friends. Any suggestions on bikes? Ideally I'd like to stick with a GasGas, but they seem to be difficult to find. Thanks guys.
