A couple of tips: 1. get a box to stand on while you kick. Put it on the ground on the left of the bike, stand on it with your left foot and kick start the bike with your right foot. This helps alot. Out on the trail look for a natural step so that you are as high on the left side of the bike as you can be. Kick backwards, not straight down. 2.
