I can relate to your concerns regarding contamination getting into the carb. Not criticizing your pickyness of jetting, most folks should be more picky, but on the other hand some day if you become a little less finicky about it you may get to spend more time riding. I know guys that ride for a few minutes then are back at the truck bleeding air from the forks and lubing the chain. This is a constant ritual.
