My grandson's pw 50 has a very weak spark. I have the service manual cd that I bought off e-bay that shows how to check the coil under the seat and the ohms on the ignition rotor side. The coil with the spark plug lead seems to check ok. When I unplug the other wire to check the rotor, it seems to read a little less ohms than the manual states. I am not sure that my ohm meter is that accurate. Is there a common electrical componet that gives trouble on these models? Early 80's I'm guessing. Is there a way to check the other electricals so I don't have to buy everything new? Is there a good place to buy electrical componets for this bike? I also check the connector at the run switch and it seems OK. Thanks, Richard
