Hi all, for my first official post, I tried searching on this subject but wasn't having much luck.

Does anyone have the specs for the ring end gap and piston to cylinder wall clarence? This is for a 60cc piston kit. I assume the piston is cast at least it looks to be the same material as used on the stock piston. I have the motor apart and there was some pretty bad scoring on the old OEM piston (exhaust side). The rod clarences still seem to be within tolerance so hopefully there aren't any bottom end gremlins.

Also what are some good sites to order parts? I'm looking specifically for the below:

New Reed valve (if the one on the bike is worn bad)
Spark plug wire or cap (the cap thats on there is cracked)
Throttle cable (theres a kink on the one thats on there)

Looks like a great site, got to love them bikes!!

Thats all for now, GO RIDE!

Any thoughts?

I heard that .0025 Piston to wall clearance is what's about what you want. .004 end gap would be about right for the rings. Right now if my measuring is correct for the OEM piston I have .003 clearance for the piston to wall.

I don't have a good inside micrometer so that may vary a little.
