I have been experimenting lately. Acquired some longer rear links for the shock. They are 5mm longer. Boy did they lower my bike. Suposedly an inch. I can't imagine any lower than this. Actually too low for me. It is recommended to use a 3in sag instead of 4. The four is really plush. Too plush. I had to turn clickers in 2 to be decent. The real soft was excellent in tracking.....low speed and high speed. The 3 seems stiff and I get more wheel hop, sideswap, etc. Feels a lot higher in the rear. I also lowered front end 5mm. Now this I like! Has anyone experimented with their sag and longer links? I weigh 215 and am afraid I might be too much for the 4 inch sag. I like it plush though. Trying to find a medium but just hadn't yet. I'd love to hear from others with a simlar setup.
