Sorry to see him go, but glad he is able to go out on top.

Only had the pleasure of watching him race once (USGP '76). At that time, he was widely regarded as the best MX racer of all time.

Last week after reading Rogers interview about USA's Motocross of Nations team I wondered who will step up (if anyone) when Roger and Mitch Payton decide they have had enough. Not only does he understand the racing side of it but the connections he has overseas would make it next to impossible to replace him.

Hopefully he will stick around and stay involved in the sport. What a career he has had.
