Thought of some more - Popcorn :uh: and most Kraftwerk stuff (check out Radioactivity for an eg song). Kraftwerk is seminal electronic music, but it's not something I'd listen to without headphones :o.

I look forward every Christmas season to hearing this song I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas by Gayla Peevey.

I talk to a dealer down in Clabourne Tx at least once a week and they have it on thier hold music. I was almost in tears laughing when I first heard it. Cool song.

suprised no one has mentioned the one gloved wonder, Michael Jackson. Mainly Dirty Diana with Slash on lead was pretty cool though. Saw Alien Ant Farms version of Smooth Criminal the other day. Funny Stuff, They will sing his song, then totally spoof him in thier vidieo.

Who Here is hard core country? well i am. if someone could tell me who wrote this song, i would be a little less embarsed to know more people like me are around

title: "Whispering Pines."

my most embarsing tho, Nickle Back. Yes i own that horrible CD. I like maybe 3 songs, but as a hard core metal/country fan, I get some pretty big rasses over it.

and just so everyone knows, I own a 95 escort wagon, with 2 jenson 12" subs, and A Jenson 600 watt amp. Country has suprisingly good bass.

I'm not too partial to country, but when I was a kid my parents had a Johnny Horton album I practically wore out, as it had all those story tunes on it, like, "Sink the Bismark", "The battle of New Orleans", "North to Alaska", etc.:)

Dokken anyone?!?

I picked up thier greatest hits CD the other day and went instantly back in time. Although it's a cheesy 80's rock ballad, "Alone Again" brings back a lot of cool memories and even makes me spark up a cigarette lighter and hold it to the heavens. It felt good to get that off my chest:confused:. That's the first step to getting cured.

The kid I ride with Likes to listen to The Dixie Chics, Fly. It's quite a bit different from our normal stuff. We have listened to the entire CD 2 or 3 times through on some trips. he would always say it was somebody elses.
it's not bad though

Just saw Zoolander with Ben Stiller, some great music, especially the scene where they play "wake me up before you go go" is hilarious :)
