I'm looking for a new triple clamp for my 1990 KDX200. The one thread is stripped out - no idea HOW that happened - like it when I bought it. I basically have break-away bars! I've been looking for a new triple clamp, but I'm beginning to think there isn't one made for my bike. Is there one made - or should I just tap it out???

Thanks for the help!!!!

i did some looking myself and it doesn't appear that they make an aftermarket triple clamp set for the early KDX's so pretty much you have to go with stock

I believe you should be able to use an upper clamp off a 1995+ KDX200/220 on your 89 to 94 KDX200. Using the newer upper clamp will move your bars much further forward than they are now.

Measure the diameter of the stem and upper fork tubes and compare the two.
