If it is a Wiseco use their rings, if it is an oversize OEM piston use Yamaha's rings. I guess what I am saying is use the same brand of rings as the brand of piston, because Wiseco rings normally don't work on a OEM piston and visa versa.
wisoco's are great but be sure to let your bike warm up at low rps for a few minutes before hitting powerband........................you don't want to cold seize
The important thing is to run the ring gap specified by the piston manufacturer. Different pistons run the rings in different pistons. A piston with rings closer to the crown runs looser gaps.
