I am looking for good tires for mountain riding on a XR400. I ride mostly off-road on technical rocky terrain. Durability is high priority as I don't want flats and would like reasonable wear on rocks. I ride occasionally on-road so DOT would be nice, but not if I have to sacrifice off-road performance for it. I have been looking at the Kenda K760 Trakmaster II as it seems like an aggressive DOT tire. Any Views?

absolutely the best tire i have ever used for rocks, roots, streams, desert, mountains and technical riding is the michelin x-11 trials tire. they last 3 times as long as a regular knobby. i haven't used them in real sticky clay mud, but in everything else they are the bomb for serious trailriding.
