I’m trying to hook up a rectifier and 12v battery on my ’97 KDX 220. The diagram shows something different from the manual on the wiring diagram. Has anyone done this and if so, what wires go to what?

The kdx doesn't run on DC...which I guess is why you're putting in a rectifier?
Because you want to charge a battery?

In order to rectify to 12v (need more like 13.8V to charge a battery) you'll need something over 24VAC depending on rectifier losses and such. You won't get that with the regulator. So, you're taking the regulator off the bike and replacing it with a rectifier?
