hello everyone,is it ok to put my kawi small ends in my wiseco piston when doing top end rebuild next week,or do i order wiseco small ends?wiseco piston and rings arrived today and i have oem small ends in my spares kit.i dont want to take a chance with the oem piston i have in kit with all the negative feed back about them, even though ive now done 3000 miles on my 04 220 and bike is still strong with 1st stock piston.thanks for your time lads.

what are you talking about ?- small ends???????
yes wiseco is stronger than stock, check the piston ring end gap-
and piston to cylinder gap-
get a book- you will not regret it
replace the piston pin berring as well-,and the silencer packing if its all oily, and clogged up

no problem.

just a note here..... but when you are replacing the piston and the barrel is on, look down the bore when the piston is at the bottom of its stroke and notice how much of the transfer port is blocked by the piston?? its not really a problem just something unusual that i noticed on my 220 when doing a top end job. it seems like the ports are not very well aligned with the piston height. anyone else seen this before?
