I've been appointed a member of the Resource Advisory Council as a citizen-at-large member for the Wenatchee and Okanogan National Forests!

Wooo hoo!!

I haven't gotten my information packet yet, so I don't know a whole lot of details. Basically I will be present at meetings to give input on prioritizing the Forest Service's projects according to budgeting. It's not a voting position though. Oh well, I'm looking forward to it!

Congrats firecracker! We certainly need our interests represented to these agencies so we can gain some credibility and offer suggestions to their planning and decision making.
