yz vs sx

im looking for a 2 stroke 125 mx bike and I am stuck between yz or sx does the sx go longer b4 it needs a rebuild any other comments on which bike would be better for a fairly new rider(5'6 150 lbs) that wants 2 start motocross thanks

How often you do rebuilds is really based on how you ride it. If you ride it hard (like in motocross) than you will have to do top ends more often. If you ride it on trails than you won't need to do them as often. It's really not based on the brand of 125 that will make you do topends less.

The KTM's are generally known for having power. The YZ though, is lighter, better suspension and stuff like that. I would say if you are getting an 05 or 06 125 than get the YZ125.
