2013 KTM 250 SX-F | Dirt Rider 250F MX Shootout
Here is the last installment of the 2013 250 MX Shootout, which is all about the quarter liter orange machine. The KTM 250 SX-F has changed a lot over the last few years. Originally it didn’t have linkage, it had a carb, and you had to kick it to life. Now, the bike falls in line with all of the other bike brands with linkage, it’s fuel injected and is the only 250 four-stroke to have the magic button (electric start). Do all of these changes make for a successful race bike? Dirt Rider editors Chris Denison, Adam Booth, and Kris Keefer give their candid and well formed opinions and try to answer that question. If you missed them, take a look in the video section for our previous 250 MX Shootout videos that cover the Honda CRF250R, Kawasaki KX250F, Yamaha YZ250F, Suzuki RM-Z250, and Husqvarna TC250R.
