I was wondering if when I was warming the bike up with the choke on and giveing the bike a little gas might foul out the plug??
If anybody has any suggestions about this subject I would appreciate it!!
Try turning the choke off right away or very soon after starting the bike. Using the throttle with the choke on is probably dumping too much fuel in there, especially if you have a pumper carb.
Giving the bike throttle when the choke is on is risky. The 'berg seems to have a very good choke (for cold Swedish winters) and can flood the bike if care is not taken. You have to get a feel for when to turn the choke off and EASING on some throttle to facilitate warm up. My old 501 was the same way. NOTE: making sure that the sparkplug hole is free of water following a wash will also extend plug life on the 'berg (an save your leg(s).
