I have a 2003 ktm 125sx, while it is running it will get hot and be at good operating temp, sometimes when cold it will produce splooge if I hit powerband, however after it’s warm it has no issue, the problem is the bike Completely cools in 2 minutes, completely cold start all over, It has good coolant, and rarely fouls plugs, any reason it would be doing this? I’m only asking because my buddies bikes (2005 85sx, 2006 kx100, and kx65) cool down in about 15 minutes, which is much longer than my bike. Any input is welcome, thanks in advance.

I wouldn't call that a problem. Heat management is something that engineers spend a lot of time getting under control. The fact it runs great once warmed up means it's set up right.

Ok thanks, I was wondering, the top end is getting pretty old so it was out of precaution I posted this.
