I have an 01' YZ 250 and the forks have been revalved. Stock springs front and back. Oil level is 100 mm from top. The bike works, but the suspension feels harsh on the first part of the stroke (hits). I'm using all the stroke, but not too the point of bottoming out. Will changing the oil level or the compression adjusters take this feeling away?

If I change the compression adjusters won't that cause the fork to bottom more often? Right now I'm using almost all of the stroke.

maybe you can back of the comp to soften and then add more oil to prevent bottoming?

You should use all the stroke on the hardest landing on each lap-bruce is giving good advice:)
