Just had to share that info. Ordered it today, and hope to receive next week. At that point, I'm sure I'll have bunches of questions about break-in, oils, setup etc. I'm going to need help!

Was close to buying just about every other 250 out there, and just decided to try something different. No doubt that any of them has infinitely more capability than I, so decided to go yellow. The last bike I raced was a '77 RM125, and I loved it, so I guess my allegiance came through.

All I heard was get a CR, get a CR, get a CR... I got an RM because it felt better to me. My '99 250 has been 100% reliable. Don't let anyone tell you a suzuki isn't built as well, because that just isn't true anymore. You'll love the bike, I promise! Plus, yellow is the best looking color

Mudboy,

You must know the same people I do. The cr is a beautiful bike, and felt great riding it, but sometimes you just gotta be different. Just have a feeling this will be the better bike for my novice ways.

Now what about all that green riding gear I've got? At least I didn't buy a green helmet:silly:

I haven't seen the article yet, but hear the rm did pretty well in a cycle news 250 comparison. A friend called me with some details, but would love to read the whole thing. (He's a die-hard cr guy, so I don't believe everything he said)Can't seem to find cycle news at the local newsstands and they didn't put the article on their web-site.

Has anyone read it. Would love more info. My bike was loaded on a truck for shipping and I need something to read while I wait for delivery.
