02' YZ85 Super Mini Big Bore Kit

Has anyone put a super mini big bore kit into a YZ85 ? I see Wiseco sells the kit. Is this cylinder actually borable out to the 105 ? I guess I was under the impression that it is ceramic coated . Or do you have to sleeve it ?

Not sure about a Yammy, but on KX85 you can bore the cylinder to 105 or so. Or you can bolt on a KX100 cylinder. Ya have to get 100cc compatible power valves too. The cylinders are nikel coated and merely need a recoat after boring.

You have to have the Nikasil bored out and then have it replated. I just did a CR85, depending upon what you are doing with the bike, the ports might need changed. When you bore out that large, the exhaust port and rear boost port drop quite a bit. That is good if you are looking to soften the power delivery, but if you are running MX, you might want to have someone port it before you get it replated. Eric Gorr (or any reputable builder) can give you more details.
