Okay I have made up my mind I'm getting a 125 again the 250F is just too much bike for me to consistantly ride fast and not hurt myself. I have my choices narrowed down between the RM and the KX. I know everything I could want about the RM so I know what to expect for it. But I like to know more about the KX the reviews and tests I've seen in the rags and on some websites don't tell me what I want to know.
What about the seat height? Kawie list it at 36.6 inches in relation to other bikes is it lower, and does it feel cramped in the peg to seat distance? I'm only 5'5" so I doubt i'll have problems. What has been your impression of kawie's build quality on the new rides looks like they stepped it up some. Whats the suspenion like? I wieght like 135 max. I would prefer to have a bike with plush feeling suspension I dont care if its ultra CR stiff more like the YZ's just without the midstroke harshness. Whats the new KX shift like? is light and smooth like the CR, RM or is more like the YZ? What about the clutch pull? I figure it should be lighter than the YZ's cause its using a push rod system. What about the motor? So far all I've read is that its good off the bottom and mid but signs off alittle early on top. I'm not real worried about that cause I know the KX's top end design has alot of potential its basically a YZ top end. What about the handling, I know old kawie's had a rep for being sorta tall/longish feeling and not real sharp handlers. I know the new kx doesn't suffer from the not being a sharp turner but what does the bike feel like compared to other 125's? One thing I really like about the RM is it feels really light. When I jumped off my yz 125 onto the RM it felt like I went from a 125 to a 100. How does the KX compare? Does the kx still feel long, and does it give a "i'm light I dare ya to whip me over that triple" kind of feeling like the RM? oh yea and throttle responce, is it snappy and crisp? more like a YZ, RM? anything else I didn't ask about you guys can throw in there. I'd rather go for the KX the seat hieght should really work to my advantage. I plan on getting one in about 6 months when I can afford it possibly sooner.
