Can the crank seal on the flywheel side be changed without splitting the cases on a 04 CR250?
My friend has one that we suspect a air leak on the crank seal. It started idling very irradicly and has gotten so bad that now it idles very very fast.He pulled the plug and it was snow white. There are no obvious leaks any where. He left it running when he pulled the flywheel cover off and as he was removing the cover it idled up even more!He spayed starting fluid at flywheel while running and it changed the idle a bit but did not rev like he thought it would if it was leaking?Any one got any ideas?
