No. The CRF won the 250 class shootout, MXA just went back and compared the 250 2-strokes to each other. I guess they're just looking for some filler to complement their magazine of advertisements.
We can all forgive them now. Ever since Suzuki broke off "diplomatic relations" with MXA we stopped buying MXA. Testing the DRZ400 as an MX bike and saying it was better than an RM on the track was really a new low for them.
Believe it or not they caught a lot of flack for that(DRZ400) and changed there style a bit, but I still don't understand how they can call it a complete shootout, when mostly all there test riders are senior novices. From the way Jody Weisel writes I always figured he was an Senior expert. You think after racing week in and week out he would be able able to hang with most intermediates. We'll he is can't. What I specifically don't like about "The MXA Wrecking Crew" is how they put down pro riders. They are so demeaning. If you don't place in the top 5 of an event you are garbage in there eyes. Just to make it in the night show for a supercross or on the gate in national is an accomplishment. It would be one thing is they where talking trash and at the same skill level as a professional rider, but they are not. That is what makes me mad about there magazine. they are so cynical.
