05/06 YZ fork protector on a 99/01 YZ ?

Hi all,

Does anybody know if a lower fork protector from an 05 model will fit on a 99/01 fork ?
I have put a CR style brake line on my 99 YZ250 but I don't trust that the fork protector guide isn't going to get entangled in the brake line when the fork is fully compressed. The 05 YZ got a CR style routing brake line and the fork protector doesn't have that guide (plus it has a clamp for the brake line) so I'm thinking it would be a simpler solution that trying to come up with some hack to make the existing setup work.

No different bolt pattern more like a CR now

The holes are totally off as the previous person said. However, lightspeed makes a set identical to the 05-06 looks, but with the old hole pattern. They are decent.
