05 CRF 250R vs. 05 YZ250F

My buddy wants a 250f but cant decide whitch to get he either wants an 05 CRF 250R or a 05 YZ250F, whitch bike is all around a better bike he will mainly be riding at the mx track and hopefully start racing by this cummin summer. I have an of yz 250f but ive never riden a crf 250 so i cant help him much. ANY ADVICE IS APPREACIATED

i heard the stock 05 crf feels way lighter and handles way better than a stock 05 yz250f ? is that true?

i have both bikes (05 crf and 05 yzf 250's),and the honda is a way better bike.it turns better,it jumps better,low to mid is better.the yzf is a tad faster on top and is real stable but the package as a whole just doesn't feel as good.but the yzf will last longer between top end rebuilds.me personally i'd buy the crf and put a dr.d pipe on and rock!

i was lookkin at the pro circuit ti-4 system?is it any good?
