hi, i have a 06 crf250r. I recently put a set of pro circuit heavy duty clutch springs in and am now noticing where the bolts that hold the springs against the pressure plate are making the inner hub mushroom where the bolt screws into it. with the bolt mushrooming the hub i am finding metal flakes in my oil.

Has any one else had this problem?

How can i fix it?

sounds like you might have torqued the spring bolts a little too tight, did you use a torque wrench and tighten to specs?? clutch springs are picky on the torque settings, I bought a used YZ125 a few years ago and the guy put new clutch plates in right before I bought it, he over torqued the bolts to the springs and I had the same thing happen. It fried the new clutch plates after just a couple of rides and had shavings when I changed the oil pretty bad.
