06 rm 250 top triple on a 04 rm 125?

hi guys i just got from a friend the stock top clamp from a 06 rm 250. and i want to use it on my 04 125 rm. i know both use the same showa suspension what i dont know is the offset of the 04 125 (the 06 250 is 22.5 mm).

i installed the top clamps and the fork legs slid properly into the triple clamps is that enough?

nope, the offset is different by 2mm- dont do it.
