07 450sxf shock springs??

I am looking for help in determining shock spring weight for the new 450sxf. The stock spring is a very light 6.6 due to the new lever ratio. I have come across several suggestions from different sources and need help for finding a starting point for a 200-210lb rider heres what I have come across.

1. Factory connection recommends a fcw-3 ( pds3 i believe)8.0-10.3 progressive wound.

2. One fellow tried a Enduro Engineering 6.8 and then a Ktm 6.9 but with the free sag the same had more race sag with the 6.9.

3.One guy was running a ktm wp7.6 which I think is the 250sx spring 06 and found it worked perfect. With good sag numbers.

4. A guy at 220 is using a 8.0 and likes it with sag numbers in the35/115mm range.

5. All the 07 sxs ktms run a 7.2.

The 8.0 sounds about right. The amount of preload on the spring itself is an important consideration 4-6mm is good.

I am going try a race tech p-15 as well as lighten the compression stack snd tighten the rebound stack and give it a try.
