Chili... you are correct. We tested that idea and found that very little of those side vents are covered in any of the seating positions one would normally use while riding. We do still think it is an air-flow issue and are having a specialist check it out. It could well be that what it takes is some good ole' fashion clutch feathering around the turn to keep the engine revs up, like was necessary with our 2-stroke RM.
