TWAS the night before Christmas here at Woodsy’s house
there was nothing going on, the cat had caught every mouse..
While all was at peace and Woodsy was home all alone
There came a very common sound, it was Randy Sneller on the phone.
Whats up? Randy said in his usual way
Are you having fun, on this once a year day?
He went on to explain that his work day would soon end,
And what fun it would be to go bike ride with his friend!
As Randy rambled on and planted the seed’
ol Woodsy fell right into Randy’s dasterly deed.
All their friends were then called, to issue this plea:
Come ride with us tonight, on this lets agree!!
Not ONE of those other dirt riders agreed,
It seems that each one had a family in need.
It’s Christmas they’d say in a voice full of distain,
If we ride tonight it’s proof of no brain!!
So Woodsy and Randy went on their way
Yes, to Cedar Creek they would go play!
They met in the dark at 7 o’clock
It was snowing and blowing, man what a crock!
They laughed and they played, did wheelies and all,
Those two best of friends were having a ball!!
Their tires were screwed both the front and the rear,
The traction was AWESOME, NO falling here!
They rode out the evening while their friends stayed away,
The 2 friends and their dirtbikes on this Christmas Eve day.
When the ride was all over they each jumped with joy,
It has been a GREAT year to have such a toy.
They pulled into the trailhead on red and on green
And talked of the splendor on the trail they had seen.
The summer is gone and there is cold in the wind,
But the memories of another GREAT year NEVER shall end!!
