but i have an old ct70 and it will not kickstart it will sometimes but it will bumpstart but that still takes a while ive changed the sparkplug cleaned the carb numerous times same with the aircleaner but what could be wrong the points what?
about 120 fresh. ours was still running at 60... how about the point gap. don't remember off the top but I thinnk its about .016" the thickness of a matchbook.
After kicking a bunch and not getting it started is the plug wet? maybe its taking a long while to get fuel. Your choking it right?
have you pulled and cleaned the carb. if it starts with the choke on and then dies you have spark and compression. sounds like your just not getting fuel. float stuck or needle valve plugged just barely getting fuel
