1973 honda sl70

anybody know where i can get a red 1973 honda sl70 in mint
condition ? this was my first bike when i was 12 yrs. old ,
and i would like to have one just for sentimental reasons

I also had a SL70 as my first bike when i was 10, 22 years ago ,had alot of fun on that thing mine was blue with white stripes , but havent seen one in alot of years , seen a SL 125 for sale a few weeks ago and it was mint ! with all the lights still on it .

my dad got a ct90 , the same time i got my 70 , he passed away a few
years back , and i have alot of great memories of him and i riding together .
i still have his 90 , and it is in mint condition .

My first bike was a yellow 1970 SL 70. I rode the wheels off of that thing and traded it in on a metallic blue and yellow SL 350.

My first bike was a blue '71 SL70 when I was eight. A couple of years later I broke it in half.:D

Green was the coolest! Bullet proof (except for the shocks).
there were around ten of them in my little town and we had a straight
pipe that we passed around as no parents would put up with it for long.
But, you could coast in fifth with kill button off, the turn the kill switch on
and shoot a 2 foot flame!!! Sure thought we were haulin'!

My next bike was a ct 90 ,very quierky looking thing , I remember you could buy those things all day for a couple hundred bucks! now when i see one forsale they bring 800-1000 , I have a 9 year old son now and would like to find a nice minitrail 50 for him to start on.

SL70 for sale

I KNOW OF ONE FOR SALE FOR 250.00. EVERY THING IS STOCK AND IT DID RUN BUT I THINK IT MIGHT NEED A NEW MAGNETO. ITS MY STEP BROTHERS AND HE SAID IT STOPED RUNING SO IM JUST GUESSING WHAT IT IS. FRAME AND TANK WERE REPAINTED SO ITS NOT STOCK IN THAT RESPECT. NOTHING IS MISSING OR BUSTED ON IT AND IT HAS NEW TIRES. WHEN IT WAS AT MY HOUSE I REMEMBER THE WIRES TO THE MAG LOOKING NOT TOO HEALTHY , THATS WHY I THINK IT MIGHT BE THE MAGNETO.
